ABOUT JOHNNY MICELI

 

 

Johnny Miceli is a junior at Burr and Burton Academy. He is a three sport varsity athlete, playing soccer, ice hockey, and lacrosse. His other passions include cinematography and photography, as well as leadership. He has gone to the VSADA Leadership Retreat, the NFHS National Student Leadership Summit, and helped run his school's own Student Lead Leadership Retreat.

In 2018, Johnny was nominated for three Gawlik awards, and won a Gawlik for Best Documentary. He hopes to continue developing his cinematography skill in the coming years.

Johnny has done a lot of travel and it is one of his passions. In his 7th grade year, his family went on a 7 week trip to Europe, traveling through Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. He has been to Germany 4 other times on the German exchange which his mom, the German teacher at BBA, runs. Other travel includes a cross-country trip that his family took during the summer of 2014. They visited approximately 30 states, as well as the Canada side of Niagara Falls.
